Bioheat Heating Oil Tune-Up

During your heating system’s 16-Point Tune-Up, our technicians perform the following to ensure your heating equipment is properly maintained and running at peak efficiency:

  • Clean heat exchanger

  • Inspect and clean combustion chamber

  • Clean and inspect flue pipe and chimney base

  • Replace oil filter, pump strainer, and nozzle

  • Test ignition transformer

  • Clean and inspect cad-cell eye

  • Clean burner wheel

  • Inspect blast tube

  • Check for leaks

  • Check burner and circulator motors

  • Check calibration of all operating controls

  • Check all burner safety controls

  • Check fan belts and adjust or replace if needed

  • Replace standard 1” air filters or wash electronic air cells

  • Conduct full combustion and efficiency test and provide test documentation

  • Check oil pump pressure and vacuum


Propane & Natural Gas Tune-Up

During your heating system’s 13-Point Tune-Up, our technicians perform the following to ensure your heating equipment is properly maintained and running at peak efficiency:

  • Clean heat exchanger

  • Inspect and clean combustion chamber

  • Clean and inspect flue pipe/venting system

  • Clean burner wheel

  • Clean and flush condensate drain and trap

  • Check for leaks

  • Check burner and circulator motors

  • Check flame, rod and ignitor

  • Check calibration of all operating controls

  • Check all burner safety controls

  • Test gas pressure

  • Replace standard 1” air filters or wash electronic air cells

  • Conduct full combustion and efficiency test and provide test documentation

Cooling Tune-Up

During your air conditioning 17-Point Tune-Up, our technicians perform the following to ensure your equipment is properly maintained and running at peak efficiency:

  • Check refrigerant, charge and measure operating pressures and temperatures

  • Test compressor operating voltage and amperage

  • Check all motors

  • Check fan belts and adjust if needed

  • Replace standard 1” air filters or wash electronic air cells

  • Check condenser coil & clean if needed

  • Check and flush condensate drain

  • Check electrical connections and wiring

  • Check and crank case heater

  • Check and flush condensate pump

  • Test pressure cutout switches

  • Check thermostat for proper operation

  • Check compressor starting contactor

  • Check blower wheel and bearings

  • Check condenser electrical disconnect switch

  • Check evaporator coil (if accessible)

  • Check controls and safety switches


Generator Tune-Up

During your generator’s 16-Point Tune-Up, our technicians perform the following to ensure your equipment is properly maintained and running at peak efficiency:

  • Inspection of fuel lines and connections

  • Inspection of flexible fuel lines

  • Inspection and cleaning of battery

  • Corrosion removal of battery terminals

  • Checked battery voltage to verify that it’s charging properly

  • Inspection and replacement of air cleaner (if necessary)

  • Inspection of oil level

  • Oil replacement

  • Oil filter replacement

  • Inspection and replacement of spark plug(s) (if necessary)

  • Load test battery with tester

  • Inspection of electrical connection box

  • Inspection of entire electrical system & transfer switch

  • Operation test

  • Inspection for vibration, noise, leakage, temperature

  • Inspection and cleaning of enclosure louvers

Our service on liquid-cooled generators also includes:

  • Inspection of cooling system, hoses, and belts

  • Inspection of coolant level

  • Inspection and replacement of distributor cap and rotor (if necessary)

  • Inspection and replacement of plugs, plug coils, and plug wires (if necessary)
